Plamil launches 'No Added Sugar' dairy free chocolateThere is a growing number of customers that want to reduce their sugar consumption or who wish to cut sugar from their diet altogether. These No Added sugar Chocolate bars use the sweetness in Xylitol, which is made from birch trees. Xylitol is known to have benefits in oral health and therefore ideal for those that do not want sugar replaced by chemical alternatives. With 60% cocoa these bars have a really good chocolate taste. Hemp has really 'come of age' and having found a source of Birch tree sugar alternative that has a very low Glycaemic Index value we then added high protein hulled hempseed to add in omega 3,6 and 9 and subtle nutty flavour.
