Our historyOriginally the company was set up in the 1960's to produce an alternative to dairy milk, producing milk from plants, the original 'soya milk' called Plant Milk. PLAnt MILk became Plamil Foods. Gradually from those early years Plamil has diversified to manufacturing a whole range of foods that you see today. IngredientsWe produce products exclusively avoiding animal/dairy/egg products - so all our products are suitable for vegans. In addition to that our products are gluten free and our factory is 'no nuts used here' controlled site. We recognize the importance for those that want to avoid ingredients, for instance nuts in our products, but we also recognize that nuts can be an important and nutritional food source. Where we make our productsWe manufacture products in our own factory, where ingredients are strictly excluded - including animal, wheat/gluten ingredients or nuts. We're also against the use of ingredients from a genetically modified source. Our products are suitable for many with a food allergy. Also there are no hidden ingredients or processing aids with our products. The ingredients on the label are what you get, nothing more.
